I had a friend in high school in 1976 that had a ‘68 SS 396 exactly like this. Same color, same stripe, RS, similar wheels. He wrecked it though. What a shame. Nice to see this one is still alive and well.
So does the ‘club permit’ let you drive an unmodified car that would otherwise have to have some added emissions equipment or other bad modification?

nice 68, typical RS car with headlight door alignment issues, my 68 suffers from it as well. I’m liking the wheels, I have a set of the exact same sitting on a shelf in the shop for my car. Also this is the first 68 ive seen a long time, besides my car, with the factory remote side mirror. Very rare option.

club permit applies to any car that is in a roadworthy condition over 25 years old. modifications are allowed.
